1. Reed Flute Cave

Twinkling multi-colored light bulbs on the roof and the floor of this limestone cave make it a fairyland. Stroll the twisting halls and rooms of what is one of the world’s largest known crystallized lagerstätten, formed some 180 million years ago.

2. Seven Star Park

Designed from seven peaked limestone hills that look like the Big Dipper, this park provides visitors with several amenities, including tranquil ponds, meandering waterways, a botanical garden, and a zoo. Make a boat ride through the Seven Star Lake to behold this beautiful sight.

3. Elephant Trunk Hill

Located in Yangshuo County and one of the symbols of Guilin this hill looks like an elephant touching its trunk into the water of the Li River. The circular hole on the surface at the foot of the hill was made to moor the ships in the past. There are great spots to watch stunning sunsets over the water bodies without interference from the public.

4. Daxu Old Town

What can you expect of the thousand-year-old town and its low-rise typical streets, narrow lanes, original-looking buildings, bridges, teahouses, and outdoor markets, which are normally serene and untroubled? Observe people’s activity in the surrounding shops with silk products and paintings in the traditional Chinese style.

5. Longji Rice Terraces

Bring yourself up for a countryside hike and marvel at the mighty man-made masterpiece of these rice paddies terraces stretching as far as the eye can see. The golden or tiled terraces shine like reflections on the mountains and look most impressive in spring and autumn.

6. Yangshuo Beer Fish

Yangshuo Beer Fish: The whole fish first goes through the beer-battering process and then is fried to golden-brown deliciousness; it is usually eaten with beer and is made for beer. Breaded and juicy from inside, it is among the specialties popular among many people.

7. The Yulong River bamboo rafting option.

Float on the Yulong River for stunning views of massive karst columns, green vegetation, water buffalo grazing by the river bank, and clear waters of the river. Most of the bamboo raft businesses offer a ride to the beautiful Lige village as part of what is offered.

8. Guilin Tea Culture

It has a long tradition of tea plantations in Guilin. Spend a day at the tea plantations and watch the making of fun Osmanthus Oolong tea. Cafes are very common and visitors can get to taste many scented varieties such as Chrysanthemum and Jasmine among others.

11. Guilin Museum

Located at the site of the original Chuanshan Academy, this museum contains over 6,000 relics that represent the extensive history of Guilin. There are truly interesting galleries that showcase Neolithic jade artifacts, Yao and Miao ethnic minorities' attire and accessories, Qin Dynasty coins, and a miniature of Guilin landforms carved on stones.

12. Lingqu Canal

Stretching back to the Qin Dynasty, the Lingqu Canal is the world’s oldest and longest water canal that interconnects the Xiang and the Li Rivers. There exists an old canal where cottage industries that have been in use for centuries, old bridges, and working locks can be seen by anyone who would prefer walking or cycling. Despite this, this engineering marvel cannot be ignored when it comes to transporting people and goods across distances.
