Shenzhen is a modern city located in the vicinity of Hong Kong and has progressed from a small fishing village into one of the most rapidly growing megacities of the world in a matter of few decades. I must admit that this is the first military-themed park that I have come across in China. Those interested in military history and military hardware will surely enjoy visiting this place due to the numerous stored tanks, helicopters, and other military equipment.

7. Fairy Lake Botanical Gardens

The 200-hectare site is made up of various garden themes and display greenhouses which makes it ideal for a leisurely walk in a natural environment. The leading feature is the rose garden which is a breathtaking environment that hosts more than one hundred thousand gorgeous roses from across the world.
