People from America can travel to China but there are times that they need to be aware of. At the moment, people wishing to travel to China from America have to book a connecting flight with layovers in Taipei, Seoul, or other Asian connection points. For now, there are no direct options to make travelling to/from China more convenient.

American visitors who are willing to endure testing and mandatory quarantining can still engage in most business operations in China as well. The later easing of the entry bans would allow more US trade delegations, business travels, investment promotions, and other forms of economic interaction with China in the future.

In conclusion, Americans still need to wait unusually long about traveling to China and within it recently. Stringent COVID policies mean that tourism or commerce is all but impossible in 2022-2023. It is expected that the landscape will enhance considerably by 2024 or 2025 as the vaccinations increase and both governments resume relations. Desperate travelers must constantly check Chinese visa and border updates for any opportunity to resume tour or trip operations.
