Welcome to Dublin! And as our special guest for today, we have tried to prepare a day of seeing some of the most famous landmarks around Ireland’s capital. The tour will begin with Dublin Castle which is a historical site located in the downtown area of the city.

Founded more than 800 years ago, Dublin Castle remains a functional complex to this day. Originally constructed as a castle by King John in 1204 and used both as a residence and a military base, the property is currently home to the Government Offices with State Apartments and Gardens, as well as the Ashmolean Museum. It is now Ireland’s leading global tourist draw. The Gravity Bar on the top floor will offer live sky views over the roofs of Dublin while you taste the real Irish Guinness in a perfectly filled pint glass.

For you to feel like a true Dubliner, we ought to ensure that we provide you with just that. So we have organized that you enjoy a music session with a traditional Irish flavour at one of Dublin’s favorite taverns. It can indeed be considered one of the most valuable assets of Ireland's culture. Then we will go for a short stroll around the cobblestone streets of Temple Bar, which is the Arts district in Dublin. We will just quickly cross the road to take a look at the Victorian-styled pub called The Long Hall after which we will head for an early evening feed at what is reckoned to be Dublin’s oldest eating house, namely Gallagher’s Boxty House, which has been dishing out traditional Irish potato pancakes, known as boxty for over three decades.

But, you don’t have to worry because as the day ends here comes the most exciting part of the day – the after-hours tour of the famous Kilmainham Gaol. This landmark played a substantial role in the fight for Irish freedom as the main leaders of key uprisings were imprisoned and some were eventually killed in this complex during the early 1900s. It is so inspiring to be treading on these corridors, or entering the cold prison cells realizing that you are on the same ground where Ireland’s heroes died for the nation’s liberty.
