Pamukkale, which stretches as many terraces of white exotic foam filled with warm, sulfurous water, can be compared only with fairy tales. 4. One of my favorite things to do is sea kayaking at Kekova.

The sea around Kekova island, especially Tersane Bay, is a perfect place for sea kayaking. Go with a kayak to find beautiful secluded beaches with crystal water that is transparent enough to see the bottom. You can also expect to see some underwater ruins as you travel along the coast as well. It affords a wonderful opportunity to gaze at the Kekova coast with some well-defined Lycian tombs hewn into the side of the cliffs.

5. Visit the Caunos Archaeological Site

The ancient city of Caunos to which the ruins have given their name, is situated on a steep rock terrace, dominating the valley of the Dalyan River. Back in the day, it was a port town established in 400 B.C. and one can still witness the old harbor site, Hellenistic theater, temples, churches, Basilica among others, and a high hill acropolis commanding the views. The site provides you with the opportunity to come back in time and envision this area that is currently devoid of people as a port town.

6. Hike the Lycian Way

Exploring a part of the longest long-distance trail in Turkey is among the top fun things to do in Mugla for tourism. The Lycian Way runs for the entire distance of 310 miles and passes through Fethiye to Antalya along the coast. The beautiful town of Kas is a typical Ottoman-styled harbor city with delightful architecture, local shops, and restaurants with amazing Turkish cuisine during the day a cozy atmosphere, and vibrant nightlife during the night.
