Masdar City

A one-of-its-kind revolutionary wonder of Abu Dhabi, Masdar City is entirely powered by renewable energy. This planned city is soon to pave the way for sustainable-energy-run cities in the near future. Nestled in close proximity to Abu Dhabi Airport, Masdar City is a project initiated by the Abu Dhabi in the year 2008 with a goal of engineering a city of the future. With the aim of becoming one of the most eco-friendly cities amid rapid urbanization, today it is the world's first and only carbon-neutral city driven by renewable energy and zero-waste. Cool breeze is circulated around the city on streets and alleys through a huge central Arabic wind tunnel making weather pleasant even during extremely high temperature. It is, however, an education hub with a graduate-research university and centres focusing on achieving sustainability and renewable energy. In fact, power at Masdar is harnessed by solar energy, with the largest photovoltaic of UAE being installed at rooftops. The place is open for the public without any charge. The normal cars are not allowed inside the place. The key highlight of the city is a unique mode of transportation i.e. small-unmanned electric cars called Personal Rapid Transport (PRT) pods. Just leave your cars at the parking area and hop onto these electric pods that will take you directly to the city centre. Miraj Museum

The Miraj Islamic Centre, located in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, features an exclusive collection of Islamic artworks and masterpieces from around the Muslim world. The museum opened in January 2015, and has a display of historical pieces from places like Egypt, Syria, Russia, India, Iran and Iraq.

Mushrif Central Park

Mushrif Central Park, also known as Umm Al Emarat Park in Abu Dhabi, is one of the oldest and largest parks in the city. Covering an area of 14.5 hectares of land, the park features a range of educational and recreational experiences. The park is often described as a 'People's Park' and has plenty to do for people of all ages. Observation Deck at 300

The Observation Deck at 300 provides a 360-degree panoramic view of the city of Abu Dhabi. With the use of binoculars for a closer view, one can enjoy a unique bird’s eye view of the skyline, the Corniche and the Arabian Gulf. As the name suggests, the Observation Deck is located 300 metres above ground, which makes it the highest vantage point in the city. The Observation Deck at 300 boasts of a seafront location and can be found on the 74th floor of Tower Two of the Jumeirah at Etihad Towers complex. The dress code is smart casual or business casual. Qasr Al Muwaiji

The beautiful mud-brick fort is located on the western side of Abu Dhabi. The fort is the birthplace of the current ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Qasr Al Muwaiji is an interesting place for tourists and locals to learn more about the life and history of the present and the former ruler of Abu Dhabi. The fort was built during the reign of Zayed bin Khalifa the First, by his son.  It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2012 after its restoration to conserve it. Sheikh Zayed Bridge

Often regarded as the most complex bridge ever built, the 842 metres long and 64 metres high Sheikh Zayed Bridge is truly a sight to see. It spans the waters of the Maqta channel, and it is the fourth bridge connecting Abu Dhabi to the mainland. It was designed by Zaha Hadid, who was the first woman architect to win the Pritzker Architecture Prize winner.
