Panagia Kera
Panagia Kera is a Cretan Byzantine Church located about a kilometer from the Krista village known for its historical importance. The church has 3 aisles and 1 dome and this monument was kept a secret so that it was not destroyed by the Turks. The frescoes on the dome are from the New Testament while the wall paintings on the aisle are from a different period depicting a different theme.
Vai Beach
The Vai Beach is a stunning, uninhabited beach with fine sand and boulders. It enjoys the exclusivity of hosting distinctive lush palm forests in its vicinity. It's a beautiful beach with crystal-clear water, great for snorkeling. Although there are no accommodations at this beach, there are plenty of services, including food, beach supplies, cameras, and drinks, in the driveway all through summer.

Easily one of the most beautiful and must-visit beaches in Greece, Voulisma beach is located in the northeast corner of Crete. Just a short drive from Agios Nikolaos, Voulisma beach offers a spectacular view of the sea and a beautiful white sand beach. The beach is shallow with calm waters and is ideal for swimming.
