Ellora caves

Gautala Wildlife Sanctuary
Gautala Wildlife Sanctuary, also known as Gautala Autramghat Sanctuary and Gautala Abhayarana Sanctuary is a protected wildlife reserve in the village of Gautala in Maharashtra. Precisely located between the Satmala and Ajantha Hills in the Western Ghats, the sanctuary was founded in 1986 to protect the wildlife. Boasting of dense green deciduous forests spread over the hilly terrain.
Sprawling over acres of land with lush green foliage, the sanctuary is is especially known for being home to several species of flora, both exotic and rare. Other than flora, the place is also home to wildlife species, among which the most common ones include Panther, Nilgai (Blue Bull), Bear, Wild Dog, Sambar, Barking Deer, Wild Boar, Wild Cat, Bison, Chital, Peacock, Monkey etc. It is also home to several avifauna species like Cranes, Storks, and Spoonbills etc. And also reptiles like Cobra, Krait, Keel black viper, Python, and Rat snake etc.

Goga Baba Hill
Located on the outskirts of Aurangabad, Goga Baba Hill is a tranquil location apt for a quick getaway. A favourite amongst trekkers, the climb to the top of the hill is fairly easy, requiring half an hour. The panoramic view of the entire city (especially Hanuman Tekdi, Aurangabad Caves, Devgiri Fort and Bibi ka Maqbara) from the top of Goga Hill is simply breathtaking, with an even gorgeous view of the sunset.
There is a small white coloured temple at the top of Goga Baba Hill, which is tiny enough to accommodate only 2 persons at a time. Even though there is no proper historical records of the importance of this temple, it is visited by a huge number of tourists.

Grishneshwar Temple
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Grishneshwar Temple located in Ellora is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. Also known as Ghrneshwar or Dhushmeshwar Temple, this Jyotirlinga in Aurangabad is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is considered an important pilgrimage site. Grishneshwar is the smallest of the Jyotirlingas and is considered the last or the 12th Jyotirlinga of India.
Entry to the Grishneshwar Temple is open to all, but to enter the Garbhagriha (the main sanctum housing the Shiva Linga), men need to be bare-chested. This is also one of the only Jyotirlingas in India where the devotees can touch the Shiva Linga with bare hands.The temple architecture follows a South Indian Style and it is known to be one of the holiest places to visit in Aurangabad. The five-tiered shikhara of the Grishneshwar Temple is spectacularly carved and constructed in the traditional temple architecture style. Rebuilt several times, the current form temple was built by Queen Ahilyabai Holkar of Indore in the 18th century.

Gul Mandi

Hazur Sahib Nanded
Hazur Sahib is a sacred monument that houses one of the five takhts or thrones of temporal authority. Also famous as Abchalnagar and Takht Sachkhand Sri Hazur Sahib, Hazur Sahib is a renowned location for Sikh Pilgrimage. This is where Guru Gobind Singh breathed his last in 1708. The temple or the Gurudwara was built around the location where Guru Gobind Singh was cremated. The stunning architecture of the Gurudwara is quite a treat to the eyes and so is the complex that extends around it on the banks of River Godavari in Nanded, Maharashtra. Every year, hundreds of thousands of followers visit the Gurudwara. What is more humbling is that they welcome people from every background with open arms. Therefore, its pristine beauty and serene ambience can also be enjoyed by tourists visiting Nanded.
Apart from its architectural grandeur, it is also highly revered for its religious significance. When Guru Gobind Singh Ji was discussing Guruship on the sacred Guru Granth Sahib Book, he renamed Nanded as Abchalnagar which means a steadfast city. His teachings lead to a way of thinking that revolves around God and his truth. Thus, the place was also called ‘Sachkhand’ which literally means the region of truth. Having said that, Gurunanak, in his texts, has used the name to denote the abode of God as well.

Located near Delhi Gate in Rauza Bagh area of Aurangabad, Himayat Bagh is a mesmerising 400-acre garden built in the 17th century during the reign of the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb.
