Well located in Nassau, the Pirate Museum has hundreds of enjoyable stories about the several pirates in the area. It offers an interactive place which appeals to so many children and adults who are fascinated by the 'Golden Age of æPiracy' in the Caribbean.
Nassau being the favourite port among pirates, provided the perfect and the best protected harbour, helping them launch their attacks on their desired trade routes. The brick red museum contains every historical element related to that time. Right from the start, a greeting is done by a dressed up pirate called Captain Sparrow, allowing the tourists to go through the different rooms and explore the objects and artefacts used by the pirates of that time. A small gift shop parallel to the museum sells all kinds of pirate-inspired souvenirs including maps, flags and post cards.
