Kecak Dance Bali
Also known as the Ramayana monkey chant, the Kecak dance is based on the story of Ramayana and is performed in the temples in Bali. The performance includes 150 performers dancing in a circle chanting chak, moving their hands, and wearing checked clothes around their waists.
Kecak is a music drama dance developed in the 1930s in Bali. Since its creation, it was solely performed by men, but for the first time in 2006, it was performed by the first-ever women’s Kecak group. The Kecak dance depicts the battle of Ramayana, in which the monkeys led by Hanuman help Lord Rama in the fight against the evil Ravana.

Kelingking Beach
Located on the southwestern coast of Nusa Penida Island in Bali, Kelingking beach is a secluded stretch of white sand bordered by steep T-rex-shaped cliffs. The scenic beauty is offset by the 400m steep climb and strong undercurrents, making this a sparsely populated beach. Kerobokan Jail
Located in Kerobokan, a part of Badung Regency in Bali, the renowned Kerobokan Jail is an eccentric place to visit. Also referred to as the Hotel K, the famous prison was first built in the year 1979 and was designed with an occupant capacity of three hundred inmates. After various renovations, Kerobokan Prison, at present, has an occupant capacity of over a thousand and four hundred inmates, brought in from several places of the world.
As per a survey, about ninety per cent of the inmates belong to the island country of Indonesia itself, and about eighty per cent of them have been charged with crimes related to narcotics. The notorious Kerobokan Prison is open to tourists who line up to meet the inmates and most of the times, even interact with them.
A short visit to this place contributes a great deal in giving a much-needed sombre break to the inmates while at the same time making the visitors realize how fortunate they are to be on the other side of the four walls.

Kertha Gosa
Kertha Gosa in Klungklung, Bali is a walled complex featuring two primary structures: the Bale Kertha Gosa halls with kamasan-style painted ceilings, and the Bale Kambang pavilion that is surrounded by a moat. Locally referred to as the Taman Gili Kertha Gosa, this grandiose structure was previously used as a court of justice, a place where the ruler could discuss the affairs of the state with the Brahman judges.
The Kertha Gosa was commissioned by the last ruler of the Klungkung Kingdom, Dewa Agung Jambe. Kertha Gosa, or Kerta Gosa, is a part of the regal Puri Semarapura Palace Complex. Along with being recognized as a National Heritage Site, this splendid exemplar of heritage is open to the public and is a renowned stopover while touring Bali.
