Chong Long Gong Temple is a Chinese Temple that is situated in the fishing village of Segenting, a small town in Minyak Beku , Johor , Malaysia. The temple stands next to the sea and the entire place feels straight out of a movie with the scenic view that is absolutely breathtaking . The deities are very unique to the culture and that makes it a must visit if you are in Batu Pahat for every tourist . It is at a distance of about half an hour from the main town. The main attraction is the deity of Fu De Zheng God (福德正神) or Tua Pek Kong (大伯公). Other deities worshipped here are the Nezha , The Marshal of Central Altar (中坛元帅) , Dragon Sea Emperor (海龙王)and God of Fortune (财神爷) among others.It also claims to house the legendary fortune fish , the humongous six feet long Arapaima that claims to bring good fortune to those who are able to touch it (fish stroking ).Other things to look out for are the local souvenirs , home baked cookies and snacks  and seafood delicacies in the local outlets allowing you to soak  the authentic experience of traditional culture.It is a beautiful photogenic destination that serves an amazing ombre pallet, especially when the sun sets in .  Photography is also allowed inside the temple. Lover's Bridge is a fairly new addition to the historical site of Batu Pahat. It is essentially a jetty that extends out to the sea. It is located in Segenting , a small town in the district of Minyak Beku in Johor, Malaysia, overseeing the River Perak . It was temporary closed for a while but since then it has gained quite a traffic . It remains as the ultimate scenic destination to visit especially if you are fond of sunsets and an escaping view. The jetty resides some small local places selling Malaysian Souvenirs and food stalls that sell items like dried prawns, seafood etc. for tourists, so don’t forget to steal a bargain! It is a fun spot for spending a peaceful day with your loved ones.It also has a heart shaped structure to lock in your memories with a special one. Uncle Lim's Farm in Batu Pahat is quite dedicatedly run by Uncle Lim who owns a 2 acre land that couldn’t be more close to the nature’s heaven as has a rich variety of greens to look at whilst being in the middle of the main agricultural land itself.. He opened it to the general public about a three years back and hence has gathered quite the attraction. The goal was to show children and adults the importance , hardships and the satisfaction behind farming while making it all fun and promoting the need of agriculture and edibles. You can find a wide range of vegetables like eggplants  , cabbage , gourd and many more. Some of our favourites are the famous Durians , Mangosteens and Rabutans. You pay for what you eat aat affordable local prices. You can sometimes even find school children being brought to visit here ! Visitors can also use the kitchenette to learn how to cook some special delicacies and try them out in the cafeteria that is located quite centrally.
