Museu de Artes e Oficios
Museu de Artes e Oficios is an arts and crafts museum in the old railway station building which occupies a significant place in Belo Horizonte's history.
The museum is located in the spacious Praca Rui Barbosa or the Station Square which is large public square used for holding concerts and event. The museum has been implanted in 19th century neo classical building which once served as the central railways station to Belo Horizonte. Palacio Das Artes
Palacio Das Artes or the Palace of Arts is a white building designed by Niemeyer to house one of the most active centres for Arts in Latin America.
Situated near the south-western edge of the municipal park, the Palace of Arts is linked to Clovis Salgado Foundation, one of the largest cultural centres in Latin America. The low rise building was designed by Oscar Niemeyer and has four art galleries and three theatres packed with performances, operas and concerts of classical and popular music. The Palace was opened to the general public in 1971 and has ever since been a place of great interest among tourists and locals alike. Bustling with events throughout the year, the Palace also houses an authentic handicrafts and souvenir shop.

Parque das Mangabeiras
The Mangabeiras is a huge park located south of the city and considered to be one of the best places to get a scenic view of BH.
Located in one of the most fancy neighbourhoods of Belo Horizonte, the park is found right below Serra do CurralÇs mountain. The place is full of fauna and flora from the region and one can get the most beautiful view of the city . Designed by famous landscape designer Burle Marx, the Mangabeiras park is one of the largest urban parks in Latin America. The park was opened in 1982 and within its premises are a primeval forest, a lake, several springs, playing fields and an amphitheatre.

SÜo Francisco de Assis
The church of Saint Francis of Assisi is located in the Pampulha region and is designed in an organic modern style by Oscar Niemeyer.
Situated in the Pampulha suburb, the church is the first listed modern monument in the country. One of Oscar's earliest works, the design of this church gives a foresight into the monuments that were to spawn in the future from this architect's brain. The church in the shape of a parabola with outdoor mosaics of Ajulejo tiles by Candido Portinari became the subject of controversy in the Christian community because of its modern design. Though it was finished decades ago, the church was consecrated in 1959 as it combined a spiritual atmosphere with unique architecture. The church became a UNESCO World Heritage in July 2016.
