First Baptist Church of Boston
One of the oldest Baptist churches in the country, the First Baptist Church or “Brattle Square Church” was built in the Richardsonian and Romanesque style in 1665 and offers a little bit of greenery. A noteworthy feature is a frieze decorated with sculptures referred to as “Les Quatres Etapes de la vie Chretienne” or “the Four Stages of the Christian Life.” It hosts Bible Study and Prayer meetings on Wednesdays between the months of September to June. Fo Guang Buddhist Temple Boston
The Fo Guang Buddhist Temple is a Chinese Mahayana temple and is the first temple built in Massachusetts by Fo Guang Shan Temple. He initially started with an idea of preaching Buddhism in Boston by creating a Greater Boston Buddhist Cultural Center, which was a restaurant that he purchased in between Harvard University and MIT.

Fort Warren is situated on Georges Island and is a National Historic Landmark. It is named after Dr Joseph Warren and is known for its role in the Civil War, WWI, WWII, and is a brilliant example of coastal engineering. Fort Warren is a pentagonal fort which is 40-50 minutes ferry ride away from Boston and is a bastion fort.
