Queensland Cultural Centre
Brisbane is the dominant cultural centre, with the pivot being the Queensland Cultural Centre, located on a riverside site overlooking the city.
For all the culture buffs, the Queensland Cultural Center is a must visit place of the city. It includes the Queensland Art Gallery, as well as the Gallery of Modern Art. If you want to see performances, there is also the Queensland Performing Arts Center.
Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary
Honoured as one of the Q150 icons of Queensland, as part of the Q150 celebrations of 2009, and marked as the oldest and the largest koala sanctuary in the world, the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is a 44-acre land located in the Fig Tree Pocket of Brisbane, Australia. It was founded in 1927 and is now a shelter for koalas, kangaroos, wombats, echidnas, Tasmanian devils, and other Australian species. Strict regulations ensure the safety and protection rights of the sole occupants-the wildlife.
Visitors can hold the koalas, feed, and pet the kangaroos for a fee. The entrance to the sanctuary is from a car park and the Brisbane river. The Riverside Cafe can serve as the eatery outlet overlooking the Brisbane river.

Located at the heart of Brisbane, this preeminent memorial features the Eternal Flame and the Shrine of Remembrance. Boggo Road Gaol
An infamous prison of the twentieth century, Boggo Road Gaol was once the main jail of the state of Queensland. It now stands as a tourist attraction with historical tours, re-enactments, events, and ceremonial functions. Visitors can also participate in a night tour with 40 other attendees.
