Gallery of Modern Art
The Gallery of Modern Art is located within the Queensland Cultural Center on the South bank, 150 meters from the main building of the Queensland Art Gallery. It was founded in 2006 and was awarded the 2007 RAIA National Award for Public Architecture. In addition, it hosts the Asia-Pacific Triennial of contemporary art jointly with the main art gallery.
MacArthur Museum Brisbane
General Douglas MacArthur commanded the war in the SWPA from July 1942 to November 1944 from his office on the 8th floor. The office has been transformed into the MacArthur Museum to look behind the frontlines of the Second World War. This museum hosts a collection of documents and exhibits elaborating on the role of Brisbane in World War II. It also focuses on the ties between Australia and The United States that were brought about by the cooperation of the armed forces during the war.

Mount Coot - Tha Summit Lookout
Demonstrating the evolution of Queensland and its history, the Mount Coot-tha Lookout & Kiosk, an estate of aesthetic significance, is enlisted on the Queensland Heritage Register. Part of the Taylor range, it forms a backdrop to the city of Brisbane. With Sir Samuel Griffith Drive to its southeast, it is mounted at the summit.
Mt. Glorious
With a population density in the 500s, Mt.Glorious is a rural province in the Moreton Bay Region of Queensland. It is part of the D’Aguilar Range and is an hour-long drive down a winding route from Brisbane. The mountain range is surrounded by a National park and thick, lush forests. The Museum of Brisbane, a social history museum and an art gallery, reflects the stories and the people of Brisbane through exhibitions, events, workshops, and tours. In-housed in the Brisbane City Hall, it centres itself around conversations of the evolving life and histories of contemporary cultures.
New Farm River Walk
The 5.3 km stretch of the New Farm RiverWalk follows the out-and-back route type. It takes a couple of hours for walkers to cross this well-maintained park. Cyclists and joggers can enjoy the view of a new-found perspective of the city line situated near Kangaroo Point. The route along this walk has access to the Felons, Eagle Street Pier, and the Botanical Gardens. Road biking and skateboarding are also some of the common activities along this walking trail.

Newstead House
Located on the Breakfast Creek bank of the Brisbane river, the Newstead House is one of the oldest surviving houses in the northern suburb of Newstead. It was built in 1846 as a small cottage in the Colonial-Georgian style. It was later furnished in the Late Victorian style after extending and painting its original infrastructure. Along with the substation and Newstead Park, Newstead House was entered into the Queensland Heritage Register in October 1992. It is currently undergoing refurbishments, after which it is likely to reopen as a house museum again.

Nudgee Beach
With a population of a little over 260, this suburban beach city is approximately 20 km away from the central business district of Brisbane. The area can be traversed by a bike track that encircles the beach and runs to the Toombul shopping centre. Visitors can indulge in board walking, canoeing, fishing, or birdwatching as pastime pleasures.
Old St Stephen's Catholic Church
