The beach in Agioi Apostoli is named after a chapel located on a hilly promontory in the area. It is quite a popular beach amongst tourists and locals since it is the closest to the city centre in Chania. The beach has three bays with very clean water and sand. Snorkelling is quite a popular activity here. It has many facilities like sunbeds, umbrellas, showers, toilets, changing rooms, free parking space and rentals like air mattresses, children's toys and diving goggles. The beach is scattered with plenty of taverns that serve traditional Crete delicates, refreshments and other meals. The Aradena is a wooden planked, steel bridge on the south coast of Crete. It is also the world’s highest bailey bridge. The Archaeological Museum of Chania is housed in the former Venetian Monastery of Saint Francis and is situated in Old Town. The museum intends to display the archaeological heritage of the city over the years. The exhibition is set out in three galleries. The first one is about the prehistoric settlement of Minoan life, and the second is about the establishment of Kydonia, Aptera and the League of cities in the 3rd B.C. The last hall displays everyday life, from the earthquakes and reconstructions in the city to the lifestyle of people in Crete.
