Forum Art Gallery

Located in Adyar, Chennai, Forum Art Gallery is one amongst the most popular art galleries of the town. It was founded in 1997 by Shalini Biswajit and focuses on the contemporary art forms. The wide variety of exhibits in the gallery include paintings, sculptures, ceramics, photographs etc.

Gallery Veda was started by Preeti Garg and currently has two branches in Chennai- one at Nungambakkam and the other at OMR. The gallery was started with the idea to reach out to the masses and introduce them to the different facets of art. For the same reasons, the gallery conducts various workshops and exhibitions throughout the year.

Government Museum, Chennai

Government Museum was established in 1851 and is the second oldest museum in the country after the Indian Museum in Kolkata. Situated in Egmore suburb of Chennai, it is built in the Indo-Sarcenic style and houses a rich collection of the works of Raja Ravi Varma.
