Doi Ang Khang also houses another famous peak which stands at the height of 6,325 feet high. A cluster of valleys and peaks would lead towards the tribal life by the hill, which was once home to many tribes including Lisu, Lahu, Palong, and Hmong, over ten decades ago. The villagers here still adorn the traditional tribal costumes and reside in one of the many bamboo stilt houses lined along the path. Although this remote destination is unknown to many visitors across the globe, it is still widely popular among Thai visitors. Read More

The village offers insight into their lifestyle, folk culture, traditional artifacts, and livelihood practices. Throughout the village are stalls selling souvenirs and local products. Located approximately 5 kilometres from Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, the Doi Pui Hmong Hill Tribe acts not only as a lighthouse for great city views but is also a vast village market. In addition to a range of stalls, there are a handful of coffee shops as well. At the end of the market is housed a compact museum sheltering some pictures, handmade tools and bells. Watch out for them. Visitors can interact with the lovely Hmong people and even know about authoritative measures for the relief of ethnic cultures from the museum. Read More
