Bai An Hai
Bai An Hai, also known as An Hai Beach, is a beautiful shore with a view of green mountains and fishing boats anchored to the coast. Located off the southwest coast of Con Son Islands, it is among the least populated and virgin Beaches of Vietnam.
An Hai Beach contains the most scenic beauties than the other remote villages. There is a long stretch of white sandy beach and surprisingly, they're mostly very pleasant and quiet and make it a good place to relax in peace. A lot of hotels are situated on the northern side of the islands.

Bai Dat Doc Beach
Dat Doc Beach is a white sand beaches with a mesmerising backdrop of sorrounding forest mountains.
Dat Doc Beach is a beautiful beach far from the town in the northwest. With the Six Senses Resort as its neighbour, the beach has become more popular and more visited. No, its not a private beach, but it's clean like one. It's an ideal place for swimming with clean shallow water near the white sand.

Chua Van Son
Translating to mean 'Cloudy Hill Palace', the Van Son Pagoda is among the few religious buildings on the Con Dao Islands. Although not a place of importance from the religious point of view, the pagoda offers sweeping views of the Con Son Bay, the lake and of course, the town of Con Dao.
Van Son Pagoda is one of those places that you can add to your itinerary if you have some spare time on your hands. There is a flight of stairs one needs to climb to reach this place of worship. Many monks can be seen chanting making the ambience surreal. Proper dress (full-sleeved) is required here.

Dam Trau Beach
Located just about 200 metres to the west of the Con Dao Airport, Dam Trau Beach is an exhilarating expanse of yellow sand and crystal clear blue waters. Stretching as far as the eye can see, on one hand, lies the sandy shore and on the other tall rock formations. Mostly populated by the local fishing community. Its unspoilt environs attract beach lovers from world over.
Long stretches of unspoilt shoreline, calm ocean currents, scuba diving and snorkeling activities - if these are the things you're looking in a beach, Dam Trau is your destination. It is easily one of the most beautiful beaches in Con Dao and also the most easily accessible one. A few restaurants and cafe also sit along the beach, from where you can buy beer and sea food and chill for hours!

Hang Duong Cemetery
Hang Duong Cemetery is a shrine to 20,000 national heroes of the country who died when they were imprisoned or were executed. The most respected among these national heroes is the grave of Vo Thi Sau - a 14-year old martyr who took up arms against the French Resistance at a tender age. Her sacrifice is revered and respected among the locals who come here to pay homage to the freesom fighter.
The cemetery, located in Con Son, also has a massive structure that symbolises three burning incense sticks, a ritual to pay obeisance to the ones buried here. Another famous burial that took place at this tomb of the brave was that of Nguyen An Ninh - A Vietnamese writer and an activist in the revolution. A large number of Vietnamese come to Con Dao, not to enjoy the splendid beaches, but to pay their respects to the national heroes buried in this cemetery.

The Prison Museum
Providing a peek into the island's more bleak and violent periods of history, the prison museum is far more than just a tourist site. It opens up a perspective to the visitors of just how far Vietnam has come from its war-torn past. There are more than 2000 separate exhibits here, each with its own share of importance. This includes Dioramas, documents, and even enactments of wartime prison atrocities.
A great place for the history buffs, the Prison Museum is regularly visited by the locals and Vietnamese people who come here to pay their respects and offerings. Located at the Ton Duc Thang Road, the prisons were a site of misery during the 1950s, when many national heroes were imprisoned and died here for their nation's independence.
