The Rose Gardens of Farmers Branch
Located opposite the Farmers Branch lane, this Rose Garden was a gift to the city of Dallas in the honor of Ruthan Rose, a rose enthusiast and past president and member of the Brookhaven Garden Club and the Dallas Rose Society. Also known as the Ruthan Rogers Rose Garden, it is set up in a historical setting and was designed by Pam Smith, Dallas’ Park Landscape Manager.
This antique garden with over 200 varieties of roses functions with the mission to educate people about the selection and care for roses and insists on no pesticide or fertilizer usage. There are many tours as well as educational seminars organized during the blooming of roses.

The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza
The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza is one of Texas’ most visited historic places. The museum displays a chronological order of the events that took place in the life of former president John F Kennedy. The building is currently at the very location where the president was shot and killed by Lee Harvey Oswald. The place is now a memorial and holds the value and legacy of John F Kennedy.
Located on Elm Street in Dallas The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza has a bunch of photographs, historic films, artefacts and documents to show the assassination and life story of the former president. Much of the exhibit is the same as it used to be back in the 1960s during the course of the unforeseen situation. The museum also has a unique and wide collection of books in a well-kept reading room. The rich multicultural experience fosters knowledge, experience, and understanding.

The Trial Garden
The Trial Garden, as the name suggests, is an area within the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden that is created for plant-based researches. The main aim of the Trial Garden is to evaluate a variety of plants in the drastic climate of the Metroplex and North Central Texas.
The Trial Garden carries out experiments on over 3,000 to 5,000 plants every year. One can visit and learn how the plants survive extreme heat conditions and what they can do for their gardens too. The information gathered by the trials is also shared with commercial plant producers, retailers, and home gardeners.

Winstar World Casino and Resort
The Winstar World Casino and Resort is the closest casino to Dallas. It is 80.4 miles downtown Dallas. The Casino Complex spans over 500,000 sq feet and is one of the largest in the United States. It houses nine globally themed gaming plazas, VIP ultra- high stakes rooms and it also hosts Bingo to poker tournaments. From Downtown Dallas, the ride to the casino would take an hour and a half or sometimes 40 mins depending on the traffic.

A 1-hour 50 minutes ride from Dallas leads you to the City Park which is the home of a beautiful 15 feet tall Tonkawa Falls that drops directly into a swimming hole. TPC Four Seasons Las Colinas
The TPC Four season, Las Colinas is a championship course designed by Jay Morish, Byron Nelson, and Ben Crenshaw. The course was constructed as a stadium course and since it’s opening in 1983, it has hosted the PGA Tour’s Nelson event from 1983 to 2017.
The course is operated by the Four Season Hotels and Resorts, a five-star golf resort and the only AAA Five Diamond resort and club in Texas. The course is located just 10 miles from downtown Dallas and features 7,166 yards in length, championship tees that test the limits of the players.

Trammell Crow Park
This community park in the Dallas Floodway happens to be close to the Sylvan Avenue Bridge and a terrific destination for sports and other recreational activities. Trammel Crow Park has designated spaces for soccer as well as cricket. Trinity Skyline Trail and Trinity Levee Top Loop Trail are meant for walking, hiking or biking while Crow Lake is ideal for boating; there is a boat ramp along with a trailer parking.
