Prairie Creek Park is one of the oldest parks in Richardson which is home to a beautiful waterfall. It is a popular picnic and hiking spot that spreads over 38 acres of land. Wichita Falls, the name of the city and the falls is an artificial man-made waterfall in Lucy Park. Built after the floods of 1800 washed away the original falls, this cascading three tiered falls is 54 feet high and a 2 hour drive from Dallas.
