Belo Garden is a public park managed by the City of Dallas and Downtown Dallas Inc. in downtown Dallas’ Main Street District. Open throughout the year, the park offers visitors a refuge from the busy city. It opened to the public in 2012 and was formerly a parking lot. The area is covered with lush green grass, including ornamental grasses, trees, decorative shrubs as well as seasonal flowers. There is an interactive water fountain at the centre of the park that serves as a cooling agent during the warm summer months. The lawn provides enough space to sprawl out, read a book or walk around the area.
