Guddalli Peak
Once a summer retreat for the British, Guddalli Peak is one of the tallest peaks of the Haidarghat mountain range. A blessing in disguise, Guddali Peak is one of the highest peaks of the area. With an average altitude of about 1800 ft above the sea level, the peak offers a splendid top view of the dense foliage, River Kali, River Belikeri and the Arabian Sea at a distance.
With amazing weather throughout the year and flanked by a thick cover of woods and river meandering through the region, the peak is approachable by a trek of 5 kms crossing several springs and brooks. It is located nearly 13 kms from Devbagh.

Karwar Port
The Karwar Port is a religiously significant place located 10 km from Devbagh. Also referred to as Baithkol, the port is adorned with plethora of tiny villages such as Hotegali, Kadwad, Chittakula and Shiveshvar etc.
According to a legend, the Shiveshver village was once home to two descendents of Prophet Mohammad's son-in-law. Since then the village offers learning of Islamic religion. It also houses shrines of some popular Muslim saints like Gaiby Pir, Shamshuddin Pir and Nizam Pir.

Lighthouse, Devbagh
A perfect example of colonial architecture, this lighthouse nestled on the Oyster Rock Island is believed to be constructed by British in the 1860s. Located in the proximity of Devbagh on the coast of Karwar, the lighthouse is a historic building adorned with a dome and a lantern room. Even today, the place is used to guide the ships and their routes and can be seen from some distance.
Scuba Diving and Snorkeling
There is no way you can miss out on scuba diving and snorkeling while in the town. The will take you to another world where you will witness some of the exotic marine life and colourful reefs.
Shejjeswar Temple
Shejjeswar or Siddeswar Temple is an ancient temple believed to have been existed thousand years ago. Located about 8km away from the destination, it is considered to be one of the five Gokarna Mythology temples.
You can also take part in enthusiastic celebration if visiting during Maha Shivratri.
Shopping in Devbagh
If you are going shopping in Devbagh, you will find a variety of products made out of sea shells. Do make sure to buy some or may be collect the shell from the shore as a souvenir to take back home.

Tagore Beach
Shimmering golden sand and soothing coconut groves complimenting its glamour along with crystal clear water make the Tagore Beach an extremely popular spot. The annual Karavali Festival held at the beach around December and January is one of the biggest events to take place here. Note that the beach does not have any food shacks or shops nearby so it is recommended to bring your own food and water.
Popularly referred to as Karwar beach, it is located in the Karwar town at the confluence of the Arabian Sea and Kali River. Famous for its crescent shape, the beach attracts a large number of tourists offering a splendid view of sunrise and sunset.
