Dibru Saikhowa National Park Tourism

Nestled in the northeastern part of India, Dibru Saikhowa National Park is a paradise for nature lovers. Measuring over 650 square kilometres, this biodiverse haven is home to a unique mix of foliage and fauna, making it a must-visit destination for those seeking an immersive wildlife experience. Dibru-Saikhowa National Park is a public demesne located in the northeastern state of Assam, India. It's known for its rich biodiversity and unique ecosystem, encompassing tropical rainforests, champaigns, and washes. The demesne is positioned in the floodplains of the Brahmaputra River and is one of the largest public premises in Assam. Visitors to Dibru-Saikhowa National Park can engage in activities such as bird watching, jungle safaris, and swash peregrinations. The ground offers a chance to witness the natural beauty and wildlife of the Assam region.

Dibru Saikhowa National Park is one of those places that boasts a rich collection of foliage and fauna, numerous of which are endangered. It's one of the many remaining defended spots in the Aboriginal Raspberry Area of the Assamese Plains.

Dibru Saikhowa National Park is a swash islet public demesne and one of the 19 biodiversity hotspots in the world. This national park is positioned 12 km north of Tinsukia in Assam. Of the seven corridors of the demesne, one is a swamp, and the rest is substantially covered with champaigns and thick timber. Beast life to be viewed in their natural niche includes royal Bengal barracuda, hoolock gibbons, and leopards. It's also home to some defined-range species, such as the white-soared wood duck, Bengal florican, lesser adjutant stork, spotted-billed pelican, white-bellied heron, Pallas's Fish Eagle, Swamp Partridge, Jerdon's Babbler, black-breasted parrotbill, and Striated Grassbird. Marsh Babbler, Swamp Prinia, and Yellow Weaver.

There are no roads and hence no jungle safaris or giant lifts for roving in the demesne, so you can explore the demesne only by touring, although boat service is available, which can take you to colourful spots. Guijan Ghat and Saikhowa Ghat are the public's entry points.
