Qatar National Library
Housing over a million books and a reading room for thousands of visitors, the Qatar National Library is located in the District of Freedom at Education City in Doha. The Qatar National Library is an architectural landmark and houses a mini-museum with vintage literature. This Non-Profit Organization is spread across an area of 42,000 m 2 and preserves heritage texts holding historical significance to Arab-Islamic Civilization. The modern library is also available digitally and gives free access to multiple books to Qatari citizens. Membership in the National Library is free for the citizens of Qatar with valid ID proof.

Skydiving in Doha
At its skydiving site in Al Sadd, Doha, Skydive Qatar provides one of the most exhilarating extreme adventure activities. Its dropzone is located north of Doha at the Al Khor airfield. The skydiving facility provides Tandem diving experiences for both experienced and novice jumpers. For new divers, they provide integrated advanced training packages as well.
Following a quick medical examination and safety training session, Jumpers get to use the most up-to-date equipment in the C208 B EX aircraft as they soar to a height of 12,000 feet. For 45 to 60 seconds at a speed of more than 120 mph, tandem divers get to feel the rush of flying through the air. The parachute unfolds after that, and you float calmly for 5 to 7 minutes. Jumpers can also have their experience documented and captured on camera. Baladna Park and Al Khor park are some of the nearby attractions.

The Tawar mall features over 300 local and international shops, an outdoor musical water fountain and an artificial waterfall created through LEDs. Paying homage to traditional Qatari culture, the mall has a traditional Souq with a modern design where local businesses sell antiques, souvenirs, perfumes, clothes, food, and more. The Grand Mosque
One of the largest mosques in Qatar, The Grand Mosque, devoted to Imam Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab, is perched on a hill in the Jubailat district of Doha. A pleasant blend of Arabic and modern architecture can be seen in the Grand Mosque, with distinct domes, sparkling crescent moons, a minaret and open outdoor areas.
Built on an area of 175 000 sq mts, the Grand Mosque can simultaneously accommodate 10,000 men and 1300 women in their respective praying areas. In addition, it can host up to 30,000 people simultaneously. The mosque has 17 side entrances and 3 main doors. In addition, the mosque has restrooms in the basement, unique prayer rooms for men and women, and a VIP room (inaccessible to non-muslims). Tourists are not bound to dress similarly to Qatari Muslims but are expected to wear decent attires to respect the Islamic Traditions.The mosque is open to all visitors, including non-muslims!

Weaponry Museum
The Qatar Weaponry Museum features a fascinating collection of weapons and armours dating back to as long as the 16th century. Based in the Al Luqta neighborhood, this museum can only be visited through appointments. With over 2300 exhibits, the museum showcases different kinds of swords and daggers, alongside firearm accessories and ceremonial weapons. The collection includes exquisite ceremonial swords that belonged to members of the Gulf's leading families, including a khanjar carried by the illustrious Lawrence of Arabia and an 18th-century gold-encased dagger acquired by Sheikh Ali Bin Abdullah Al Thani.
