It is a must do when you're in Durshet - the dark blue sky illuminated with the little stars light your way through the forests coupled with the eerie noises of the forest insects, the night calls of owls and the occasional howls of the jackals makes for an exciting night out in the woods.

Situated a few km away from Durshet are two mountain forts - Sarasgad and Sudhagad. Both were forts under the reign Shivaji Maharaj in those times. Apart from it's historical significance, it is popular among trekkers and adventure enthusiasts.

Shri Ballaleshwar Temple of Pali and Shri Varad Vinayak Temple of Mahad both lie on either side of the Durshet Village. Both of the Lord Ganesh temples are highly revered and see a flock of pilgrims from all around.
