Ezhattumugham

St. George’s Church, Kadamattom
St George’s Church is an ancient Indian Orthodox Church in Kadamattom, Ernakulam, Kerala near Kolenchery. It is believed that it was constructed by Bishop Mar Sabor, who helped bring God’s word as per the Saint Thomas Christians to Kerala.
There are rumours that this church was a home-ground for conjuring spirits and healing. It is believed that the land on which this church stands was gifted to Mar Sabor after he healed the donor’s daughter of her illness.
