Cycling in Gili Trawangan

Cycling around the island of Gili Trawangan is the best way to explore the entire area. The island is not large, and with little to almost no motorised traffic, cycling is a leisurely activity. Many cycle rentals offer them for cheap rates, and there are many scenic spots to stop at and enjoy the breathtaking scenery around the island. However, bear in mind that the tropical weather might make it uncomfortable to cycle too long at a stretch.

Sama Sama Reggae Bar in Gili Trawangan is probably the most popular spot to enjoy some live music while sipping on some fantastic cocktails. The Irish Bar Gili is another popular spot, open and close to the beach for some live music, great food, and beer. The Giant Swings in Gili Trawangan or Gili T Swings are probably the most sought-after spots on the island.
