Hedvi beach is situated about 3km from the Ganesh Temple. It is famous because of a rock formation that sits on the beach. Bahman Ghal is a large black monolith of about 35 feet high.
The thundering noise of the waves hitting the rocks coupled with the water column rising and sending a water sprinkle, is quite an experience to enjoy.
Shri Dashbhuj Lakshmi Ganesh Temple is said to have been erected in the period of Peshwas and has been carved from white marble found in Kashmir which is why there is a belief that it was carved in Kashmir and transported to Hedvi during that time.
The idol is 3 feet high and has 10 hands and the temple is not just ancient but even rare. There is another temple of Uma Maheshwari about 3 kms from here.
