Da Bac Cave
Da Bac is one of the most beautiful cave structures in Vietnam. The natural beauty of stalactites will leave you breathless.
The Da Bac Cave is a 70 meter long beautiful cave. Folklore suggests that fairies came to rest in the cave when they wanted a break from Heaven. The cave consists of two parts. The outer portion has large stalacites which give off the appearance of a velvet curtain. Water that drips through the blocks has reated two natural lakes. The inner portion has smaller green, yellow, purple and red coloured stalacites. On striking the walls of the cave, you can hear a loud gong - as if a copper drum has been struck. You can sit for hours, enjoying the romanticism of the Da Bac Cave.

Hoa Binh Hydropower plant
The Hoa Binh Hydropower plant was constructed from 1979 to 1994 and is a noteworthy tourist attraction. It is the largest hydroelectric power plant in south-east asia.
The Hoa Binh Hydropower plant is situatred on the downstream area of the Song Da river delta. The plant combines a number of modern day technologies such as underground water to turbine system, rock dams, and traffic tunnel systems. The plant was constructed with with eight machines that provide 1,920 MW which constitutes 1/3 of productivity in the country. Apart from the plant, you can also visit the museum. The museum is a two storeyed building that shows the construction of the dam. It also has a memorial to the people who gave up their life in the constrcution.

Kim Boi
Kim Boi is an underground hot spring and has temperatures of 34 to 36 degrees celsius.
Kim Boi hot spring water is potable and good for bathing and swimming. The water is also said to have health benefits such as treatment of blood pressure and stomach ache. The Kim boi spring has two swimming pools and an individual tub system that travellers can bathe or swim in. The houses are nicely decorated with all sorts of patterns. The large windows make air flow easy. The houses also have small ponds to breed fish. A walk is the best way to discover the village and you can experience some authentuic cuisine and dances. Mai Chau is also surrounded by towering limestone mountains that will take your breath away.

Mu Waterfall
Smack in the middle of Ngo Luong-Ngoc Son Jungle, Mu Waterfall, Hoa Binh is a multitiered azure cascade in the mountains. A short hike past fig-scented woodlands and seafood vendors takes you to the waterfall, which has several pristine pools for swimming and shady spots for relaxing.
