The Lei Cheng Uk Han Tomb Museum is located on Tonkin Street in Hong Kong. The tomb museum was accidentally found in 1995 when the Honk Kong government was levelling a hill slope for the construction of resettlement buildings which presently is known as Lei Cheng Uk Estate. It is the only Eastern Han brick tomb ever found in the metropolitan and thus is of cultural importance. The museum constitutes a brick tomb and an exhibition hall alongside. The exhibitions present give detailed information about the tomb and the Chinese famous Silk Road. Though Lei Cheng Uk Han Tomb Museum was protected by concrete and waterproofing layers, it still suffered from leakage problems and had to be renovated in 2005.
