Tam Kung Birthday Festival
Hong Kong, also called as the Fragrance Harbor, traditionally celebrates the birthday of Tam Kung, a renowned fisherman during the Yaun dynasty. This festival is annually observed on the eighth day of the fourth lunar month. Legends say that Tam Kung possessed the power of forecasting weather and healing illness of people, from a very young age. Ceremonies including a lion dance and street parade are held in the Tam Kung temple of Sahu Kei, In memory of Tam Kung.

Tamar Park
Located at Harcourt Road, Tamar Park is a public park covered with a green carpet in Hong Kong. Positioned by the side of Legislative Council Complex and the recently constructed Central Government Offices, the park provides its visitors with solace in its green and serene environment complemented with splendid views of Victoria Harbour.
Spread over an area of 1.76 hectares, the Tamar Park is a division of the Tamar Development Project and the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong government is responsible for its management. The park also connects with the Star Ferry Pier and the Central Piers through its link up with the Central and Western District Promenade. Opened in October 2011 for public use, many concerts, group yoga classes, art events and music festivals can also be witnessed here occasionally.

Tap Mun
Also known as Grass Island, Tap Mun is located towards the northeastern section of Hong Kong. Home to around 100 residents, Tap Mun also houses a handful of attractions and temples apart from the numerous tea stalls and a seafood dine-out. Some of the top tourist magnets on this island are the Tap Mun Cave, the King Lam School, Ngan See Dong, to name a few. Hilltop camping is one of the most frequented outdoor activities on Tap Mun.

Surrounding the Tin Hau temple, the Temple Street Night Market is one of the busiest flea markets in Hong Kong. Also popularly known as "Men's Market" (because of the cheap variety of men's fashion on sale), it sells Chinese paraphernalia and souvenirs along with delicious street food. Temple Street Night Market is most famous for the shopping of tea ware and antiques.
Apart from the shopping shenanigans, this night market houses some old clinics of Chinese culture selling traditional medicines and herbs, along with being the hub of fortune tellers. Another major attraction of Temple Street Night Market is the Cantonese Opera, which takes place here each day.

Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery
The Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery, located in Sha Tin, is a 20th-century Buddhist temple housing around 13,000 Buddha statues. Though named as a monastery, there are no monks residing in the complex. The 400 steps to reach the monastery is lined with exquisite golden statues of Buddha, all in different poses.
The Ten Thousand Buddha Complex spreads across 20 acres and is divided into two architectural levels - the lower and the upper. The lower level contains the main temple hall, the pagoda, three pavilions and two more galleries. It is the main temple hall in which you find around 12,800 mini statues of the Buddha, covered in gold, each in a different pose and expression.
