Bhawani Natya Sthala
Built in 1921 by the then Maharaja Bhawani Singh to promote art, theatre and culture. The building has become an iconic part of Jhalawar's identity. It was recently revived with many theatre shows happening in it.
One can visit it to see its marvelous interior decor and the theatre of the locals.
Bhimsagar Dam
The Bhimsagar Dam is located 24 km outside Jhalawar and is an excellent place to have a picnic with friends and family. The dams with its bustling water, its greenery and the flora around is a nice place to be at.
Gagron Fort
Situated in the Jhalawar district of Rajasthan, Gagron Fort is a masterpiece of Rajput architecture and a striking example of hill and water fort. The fort is built on top of a hillock and offers a mesmerising 360 degree view of the landscape below. Besides a museum outside the fort gates, there is also a mausoleum of Sufi Saint Mitthe Shah. The saint is highly revered by the locals and every year there is a fair held during Muharram to mark the respect for him. The fort boasts of beautiful architecture, sturdy walls and an all around royal aura. In June 2013, Gagron Fort was also included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site list at the 37th meeting of the World Heritage Committee in Phnom Penh.

Government Museum, Jhalawar
A place that has preserved the history of Jhalawar and its surrounding region for almost a century now. The museum is one of the oldest in Rajasthan and was established in the year 1915.
It houses some and rare and exclusive artifacts, manuscripts, statues & sculptures of goddesses and paintings. It is situated right outside the fort area.
Jhalara Patan
Situated about 7 km outside Jhalawar, Jhalar Patan is also known as the 'City of Temple Bells'. The enclosed township has some marvelous medieval temples built by yesteryear Rajputana Kings of the region.
The 100-feet high Surya Temple is situated here. The township built on the banks of the meandering Chandrabhaga has temple all along its shores. The place is beautiful filled with marvelous architectural gems of the Kota style of art.
Jhalawar Fort
A beautiful piece of Rajputana architecture, it is the epicenter of the city. Built in the middle of the of the 19th century, the Jhalawar Fort is the pride of the city of Jhalawar built by Maharajrana Madan Singh.
The fort is as beautiful inside as it is outside with many exclusive paintings adorning its giant walls.

Jhalawar is know for its cane baskets, stone sculpting and hand cloth paintings which are beautiful. The Rajasthan Tourism shop offers all these to travelers for buying as souvenirs.

Jhalawar is a nice to place shop for some traditional Bhil, Kota and Jhalwar art work. The folk handicraft work of the region is very nice and you can buy them as souvenirs.
