Adurru

A place of several excavated monuments which will make the history lovers pulse racing; Adurru is situated in the Razole Taluk. Several excavated ruins found were taken under by Archeological Survey of India (ASI) IN 1953 which includes Buddhist Stupas, chaityas and Viharas. Another major attraction of the place is Mahastupa which is crafted like a wheel on a raised dais with a diameter of 17 feet. The digging in the area also lead to plethora of ancient artifacts such as jars, dishes, bowls of kaolin, troughs and red pottery.
