Ardhanarishwar Temple

Situated on the left side of Vishwanath Temple, Ardhanarishwar Temple is also dedicated to Lord Shiva. The presiding idol in the temple is actually half man and half women presenting Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Beside the fascinating idol, one will find the symbol of Swastika.

Gaurikund

Gaurikund in Guptakashi is famous for being the starting point and the last road head before the Kedarnath Yatra begins. Gaurikund is located on the banks of the River Mandakini and is rightly considered to be the gateway to spirituality and salvation. Located at an altitude of about 2,000 meters above sea level, the Gaurikund Temple and Gauri Lake are important landmarks that the place is famous for. After the disastrous floods shook Kedarnath in 2013, the original trekking route from Gaurikund to Kedarnath, via Rambara, a total walking distance of 14 kilometers, was completely washed away. However, after this sad event, the trek route has improved considerably and is now absolutely safe, complete with all facilities, thanks to the efforts of the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM). Manikarnik Kund

Manikarnik Kund located within the complex of Vishwanath temple is a place where Shiva Linga is presided. The Shiva Linga is bathed there from two source of water namely Ganesha's head and cow's head. The most fascinating thing is that it is considered that the water from the two sources is coming from two holy rivers i.e. River Ganga and River Yamuna. The sight it present is absolutely captivating.

Vishwanath Temple, Guptakashi

One of the most popular temples of Guptkashi is Vishwanath Temple. The presided deity of the temple is Lord Shiva in form of Lord Vishwanath meaning 'Lord of the Universe'. The temple is made out of regional stones and the tower is adorned with a wooden frame. In fact it resembles a lot to the kasha Vishwanath in Varanasi.

The Antiphellos Theatre is an ancient structure that overlooks the Kas port and bay. It was located in the city of Antiphellos in Lycia. It was built in the 1st century BC and has a seating capacity of 4000 people. The views of the bay and mountains from the top-tier seating are spectacular. It is also a beautiful spot to watch the sunset. The Antiphellos Theatre was once used as a meeting area for matters relating to the Lycian Kingdom. Nigeen Lake

The Akcagerme Beach is a public beach known for its beautiful views and shallow waters. It is located 4km west of Kas, Antalya. Umbrellas, canopies, and sunbeds are available on the beach. Facilities like showers, bathrooms, restaurants, and cafes are also available. Though small, the Akcagerme Beach is ideal for a picnic, swimming, and lazing on the warm sands. You can walk for several meters in the wave-less waters without getting too deep. The sea bed is easy to walk on too, as there are no large rocks that can hurt. Popular for its calm wind and waters, the Akcagerme Beach is run by the students of the Kas Tourism and Trade School. Aperlai is an ancient Lycian port city with massive city walls submerged in the Mediterranean waters. The ancient ruins are glorious to look at with some parts of the wall still visible. It is located at the beginning of a long and narrow bay on the Sıcak Peninsula between Kas and Kekova. Aperlai is popular among tourists for its boat tours on a yacht from either Kas or Üçağız. Unlike other places historical in Kas, in Aperlai swimming and snorkelling are allowed. Inside the city walls are ruins of a Christian church, a chapel, and a cistern. There are also remains of two Roman baths and several stone coffins from the Roman era. Aperlai is not very commercialised and sees very few tourists as it is inaccessible by road.
