Parappa Wildlife Sanctuary

Sarvajanika Gabeshotsavam

Sarvajanika Gabeshotsavam is a local name for Ganesh Chathurthi and is one of the most awaited festivals of the town. Celebrated with great zeal during the month of September annually, the day is a declared public holiday in town. During the festival a large clay idol of Lord Ganesha is decorated for pooja of five to seven days.

Located about 2 km from Trikkanad is the Pandayan Kallu, a rock ascending from the sea which is popular for swimming.
