Koh Lanta Island is  famed for being the lesser-known paradise in the Andaman Sea between the Phi Phi islets and the western seacoast of Thailand. It's a cluster of 52  islets, and most of them are uninhabited as well as down from the clutches of commercialization. This allows callers to have an authentic island experience and a  comforting  holiday amidst jungles, coral reefs, balmy rainfall, and  isolated  strands. Not only this, but at Koh Lanta, you can also enjoy scuba diving, snorkelling, getting  signed, a soothing Thai massage, or just a longtail boat  stint.   The scenic Koh Lanta  islet is located  roughly 70 km down from Krabi and hence makes the perfect escape from the more popular places like Phuket and Phi Phi islets. This unpretentious  islet hosts its callers in palace-like resorts, provides umpteen shopping options, a vibrant escapism, and an  fantastic  dining option. Besides this, the most unique points of Koh Lanta are the friendly locals and the unspoiled nature, which add to the relaxing retreat for people coming to this place. Koh Lanta is a beautiful  islet located in the Andaman Sea off the coast of Thailand. It's known for its pristine  strands, demitasse-clear waters, and relaxed atmosphere, making it a popular destination for excursionists looking to  decompress and enjoy the natural beauty. Although we'd recommend that you  predicate yourself in Koh Lanta Yai for convenience, the lower island is  awful to explore and will give you a completely different perspective on Southern Thai life. Koh Lanta as a whole is a  generally Muslim  islet where you ’ll hear the melancholy call to prayer whilst lying on your sun lounger on the  sand. The faith seems to be followed in a laid-back manner than in Lanta( ‘ Thai-style'Islam),  and you don't have to cover up or refrain from drinking alcohol. Still, we do suggest you do n’t ride around topless on your scooter!   The  islet offers a range of conditioning and  lodestones  for callers to enjoy. One of the main draws is the stunning  strands, with Long Beach, Klong Dao Beach, and Kantiang Bay being some of the most popular. Callers can spend their days lounging on the soft beach, swimming in the turquoise waters, or trying out  colorful water sports such as snorkelling, diving, and kayaking.   Another popular activity in Koh Lanta is exploring the island's different marine life. The area is home to several fantastic diving  spots, including Hin Daeng and Hin Muang, which offer the chance to see  various coral reefs, tropical fish, and indeed marine  brutes like  harpies and  manta ray  shafts.   For those looking to  witness Thai culture, there are several traditional fishing  townlets on the island where callers can learn about the original way of life. The Old Town, located on the east coast of the  islet, is particularly worth a visit. Then, you can wander through narrow  thoroughfares lined with  rustic  houses, browse original shops dealing in crafts and  monuments, and enjoy  succulent seafood at shorefront  caffs.

Nature lovers will also appreciate the island's lush rainforests and  public  premises . Mu Ko Lanta National Park is a great place to explore hiking trails, spot wildlife, and take in panoramic views from the demesne's  standpoint.   Koh Lanta also offers a wide range of accommodation options, from budget guesthouses to luxury resorts, meaning that there's a commodity to suit every  rubberneck's preferences and budget.   Overall, Koh Lanta is a perfect destination for those seeking a tropical paradise with a laid-back atmosphere, stunning natural beauty, and a plenitude of conditioning to keep them entertained. Whether you want to relax on the  sand, explore aquatic  prodigies, or immerse yourself in Thai culture, Koh Lanta has it all. As Koh Lanta lies just south of the Andaman seacoast’s  high lodestones, namely Krabi, Koh Phi Phi, and Phuket, it has maintained its laid-back atmosphere, indeed, as Koh Lanta has  sluggishly developed to include some of Thailand’s finest  sand resorts. Still, Koh Lanta remains an amazing  sand destination for families, couples, alpinists , and scuba divers. Anyone who's looking for a Thai  islet that has not succumbed to overdevelopment but still has  numerous options with respect to accommodation and conditioning.   Koh Lanta Yai is 6 km wide and over 30 km long, featuring nine golden beach  strands and different terrain, including mangroves,  falls, and forested hills.   A paved road runs from the north to the south of the  islet, parallel to the seacoast, and provides access to the headquarters of Mu Koh Lanta National Park and the lighthouse on the southern tip.   Just south of Koh Lanta Yai lie the  islets of Koh Ngai, Koh Kradan, and Koh Muk, all of which offer inversely stunning strands, snorkelling, and indeed lesser  insulation.   There are  numerous  intriguing places to explore, such as Aow Nui, Tanod Cape standpoint, chapeau Kor Kwang, Hat Khlong Dawn, Hat Phra Ae, Tanod Cape, Baan Sriraya, and Sea Gipsy House( Baan Sangka U).   Because it is remote from the  landmass, Koh Lanta still maintains its beauty and  uproariousness of  strands, clear water, and amazing aquatic world. The beautiful diving points where you can see  various coral reefs and fish are Hin Muang-Hin Daeang, Koh Rok, and Koh Ha Yai. Also, callers can take a diving trip to the four  islets of Trang fiefdom, which are Koh Ngai, Koh Chaek, Koh Kradan, and Koh Muk.   The main sightseeing office on Koh Lanta is located at Baan Saladan, where callers arriving via auto-ferry or boat first arrive. Baan Saladan has the loftiest  attention of banks, dive shops,  requests, medical conventions, and motorbike reimbursement services. Koh Lanta’s post office is located in the east coast of Koh Lanta, in Baan Koh Lanta( Lanta Old Town), which serves as the island's capitalThe main  islets are Koh Lanta Yai (the big  islet) and Koh Lanta Noi (the small islet) which are connected to each other by a ground. To travel to the  landmass, you'll have to get a 20-nanosecond autoferry.Koh Lanta Yai is where the  maturity of tourism is grounded and of which the  maturity of this  companion is written about. Koh Lanta Noi is a land forgotten by excursionists, with rubber colonies,  win trees,  vacated  pariah strands and original Muslim fishing  townlets. Exploring the empty roads by motorbike( some of which are being  overhauled by foliage), we did n’t spot one Western  eatery or  hostel along the way.
