Koh Phra Thong is a tranquil island located in the Andaman Sea, off the western coast of Thailand. Known for its pristine beaches, diverse ecosystems, and peaceful atmosphere, Koh Phra Thong offers a serene escape for nature lovers and those seeking a more secluded tropical experience.

Explore the untamed wilderness of the island, where mangroves intertwine with white sandy beaches, creating a picturesque landscape that captivates the soul. Immerse yourself in the rich biodiversity, with rare species of flora and fauna found nowhere else. The island's commitment to eco-tourism ensures that your visit leaves no trace, allowing future generations to relish the untouched allure of Koh Phra Thong.

Koh Phra Thong, also known as the Golden Buddha islets, is located in the Khura Buri quarter of Phang Nga fiefdom in southern Thailand. It's 120 km from Phuket and 45 km from Khao Lak, and it's the middle link in a chain of three islets: Koh Ra, Koh Phra Thong, and Koh Kho Khao. Koh Phra Thong is known for its vast stretch of uninhabited strands fringed by coconut triumphs. The island's geography is enchantingly analogous to Africa's, making it one of Thailand's stylish destinations for raspberry- watching.

It's named the Golden Buddha after an original legend. The story tells of a precious golden Buddha statue stolen and buried on the islet by rovers that was never recovered. The eastern side of Koh Phra Thong has mangrove timbers, while the stirring flaxen strands are scattered on the west. There are a multitude of activities to do, like cycling around the islet, kayaking, snorkelling, and night fishing excursions. Still, the main draw is the strands.

Koh Pling Yai and Koh Pling Noi are two small tropical islets in Golden Buddha Bay. The Pling islets are terminated by a coral-lined channel that serves as a home for different marine life. The islets themselves feature rich tropical foliage. Each bone has inland-facing sand, sheltered from the Andaman Sea. The two islets help in breaking up any swells coming in from the outside, keeping the bay interiors serene and safe. Koh Phra Thong is also the nearest islet to Thailand's top dive spots, Richelieu Rock and the Surin Islands. Thailand's Koh Phra Thong, or Golden Buddha Island, is named after an original legend. The story tells of a precious, stolen golden Buddha statue buried on the islet by rovers that was never recovered. Currently, the islet benefits from being one of Thailand's last unspoiled littoral locales. With over 15 km of largely uninhabited white flaxen strands, Koh Phra Thong is an ideal choice for those who are really looking to get away from it all. Koh Phra Thong is the closest land mass to the Surin islets, which host a multitude of various tropical fish species and the broadest diversity of hard corals in Thailand. Nearer still is Richelieu Rock, Thailand's stylish scuba diving position and considered a world-top-ten dive point. Richelieu has regular visits from graceful manta ray shafts and fugitive Goliathsharks. This is a large islet northwest of Phang-nga. Located in Tambon Phra Thong, the islet is an ideal vacation paradise, containing unspoilt natural beauty as well as awful strands. There's a large fresh water force on the islet. You can take a boat lift from Khura Buri pier to the islet. The trip takes just over an hour. Private accommodation is available.

Located around 2 km. from the seacoast off Khura Buri, the eastern side of this islet is abundant with mangrove timbers, while the west side substantially houses flaxen strands. The centre of the islet, still, is substantially taken up by grassy plains with paperbark trees scattered throughout, and commonly it has come known as ‘ Thailand’s Serengeti ’, as well as being listed amongst the Unseen in Thailand sightseer lodestones . The islet is perfect for nature suckers who are looking to get off the beaten track, and there are plenitude of activities like cycling and travelling around the islet on a pick-up or original ‘E-taek ’ tractor. There are also some simple accommodation options for those looking to spend the night. Trippers wishing to visit the islet can speak at the Khura Buri pier or ask about their proposed accommodation on the islet to arrange a ferry across. The trip from the pier to the islet takes roughly one hour.
