Agaya Gangai Waterfalls
The Agaya Gangai Waterfalls are located in the Kolli Hills of the eastern ghats, Tamil Nadu. Originating from River Aiyaru, these falls are the 300ft fall taken by Panchanathi, the vivacious stream in the Kolli Hill jungles, specially between November-March. The waterfall is also considered sacred, not just for its natural exuberance, but because it falls near the Arappaleeswarar Temple.
It is considered as a treat for waterfall enthusiasts but requires an upward trek of around 1300 steps to get here. It is important to carry supplies, be safe and wear strong footwear & durable clothes. The waterfall is dangerous during the monsoons and should be avoided.

Siddhar Caves
An age-old home for ascetics, the Siddhar Caves of Kolli Hills, Tamil Nadu are sacred and serene. It is said that sages lived here and grew various medicinal herbs and practised special healing practices. These herbs can still be found around the caves. On the way to the caves, you will also spot the vivacious Agaya Gangai waterfall which is famous in this region.
Tampcol Medicinal Farm
The Tamil Nadu Medical Plant Farms & Herbal Medicine Corporation Limited (TAMPCOL) has set up the Tampcol Medicinal Farm in Namakkal, Tamil Nadu. The farm is located in between the famous Kolli Hills and boasts of a scenic farm which is home to medicinal herbs used for healing.
In 1983, a need for developing medicinal plants, ayurvedic medicines and other Unani or Siddha practices was observed by the then Tamil Nadu government. The farm is open for tourists or visitors everyday from 8am to 7pm. There is an on-site store where visitors can purchase certain products made by TAMPCOL for wellness and healing.
