Petronas Towers
The Petronas Twin Towers located in KLCC, Kuala Lumpur are twin skyscrapers with each tower standing 451.9 meters proud. The tallest twin towers in the world, the major attraction at Petronas Towers is the double-decker sky bridge, and the observation deck, which provides a magical aerial view of Kuala Lumpur.
The Petronas Twin Towers held the title of being the world’s tallest buildings until 2004 when Taipei 101 transcended over them. While the Petronas headquarters fully occupy Tower 1, Tower 2 is left open for a limited number of visitors per day. TThe double-decker sky bridge which joins the 41st and 42nd floors of the two towers is about 170 meters above the ground level while the observation deck is located yet higher on the 86th level. The Petronas Twin Towers is also home to Dewan Filharmonik Petronas concert hall, Southeast Asia's leading venue for classical music.

Planetarium Negara
Situated on the hilltop to the east of Lake Garden in Kuala Lumpur, Planetarium Negara is the National Planetarium of Malaysia. Devoted to astronomical and scientific wonders, the planetarium is crowned with a blue dome and comprises of a Space Theatre, exhibition halls and provides hands-on experiments.
Planetarium Negara consists of some copies of Indian and Chinese observatories and is spread over an area of 1,20,000 square feet. Different films are screened in an Omnimax-style on the inner ceiling of the dome with the screen giving a panoramic view. For the adventurous people, there is a human-sized gyroscopic Space Ball at the planetarium which can whirl the people. A UV-lit lift, referred to as the Galeri Pemandangan, brings the visitors to observatory gallery where they can have an impression of the town and catch sight of other planets using the telescope. Mini Planetarium Negara libraries houses books mainly on astronomy and science and also other subjects like philosophy and social science.
