Known for the Kukke Subramanya tabernacle with Subramanya, lord of all serpents, as the deity, Kukke Subramanya is a vill with beautiful geographies all around. Placed on the banks of the swash Kumaradhara, this village is an affable blend of natural beauty and religious saintship. It's most well known for its religious lodestones , with quite a few tabernacles in the area. It's also a sightseer spot owing to the lush green timbers, gutters, and mountains that compass these temples. Kukke Subramanya Tabernacle is located at the Subramanya Vill in Sulia Taluk and is notorious for its association with Lord Subramanya. It's believed that all serpents, including Vasuki, took refuge under Lord Subramanya when they were under trouble from Garud. Located at the banks of the River Kumaradhara, one has to take a holy dip in this swash too. Inside the tabernacle, the Garuda Pillar, which stands altitudinous and covered in tableware at the entrance, is worth admission. This sanctum is positioned coming to the Subramanya Temple, featuring anthills that are worshipped as Vasuki and Adishesha. Along with being a religious magnet, this place also provides respite from the hustle and bustle of the megacity with its mountain aqueducts and lush green surroundings. Nestled between hills, this pilgrim centre is notorious for the 5000-year-old Kukke Subramanya tabernacle on the banks of the Kumaradhara swash. The Darpana Teertha is an influent of the Kumaradhara River that flows outside the main tabernacle of Kukke Subrahmanya. According to myth, an Akshaya Patra( kopparige consisting of gold jewels) and a glass( darpana) came flowing down from the mountains and were collected by the tabernacle managementThe epics recite how the godly serpent Vasuki and other snakes took refuge under Lord Subrahmanya in the grottoes . Then Lord Subrahmanya is worshipped as a snake, and pooja is offered to Him, who's intermingled with serpent king Vasuki. Hence, it is believed to be the ultimate solace for deliverance from any kind of Naga Doshas. A ritual cotillion called Nagamandala is also performed then. History Kukke Subramanya is one of the seven holy places created by Saint Parashurama. The divine serpent Vasuki is believed to have taken refuge in Kukke Subramanya while being hunted by Garuda (the fabulous raspberry and sanctioned vehicle of Lord Vishnu). Lord Kumaraswamy and his family, Lord Ganesha, are said to have killed demon autocrats Tharaka and Shura Padmasurya in Kumara Parvatha, near Kukke Subramanya. Post-palm, Lord Kumaraswamy married the son of Indra-Devasena. All major gods attended the marriage event, bestowing godly powers on the place. Popular rituals Ashlesha Bali( prayers seeking protection from black snakes) and Sarpa Dosha Parihara (jugging of any curse of snake gods) are two popular puja rituals offered at Kukke Subramanya Temple.
