Anegudde Vinayaka Temple
Lying on a hill in Kumbhashi, nearly 9 km away from Kundapur, Anegudde Vinayaka Temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesha. It is believed that at this very site Sage Agasthya performed penance to attract Indira. The idol of the deity is a stunning 12-foot tall naturally found in the form of an elephant.
As per the legend, Bhimasena also killed Kumbhasura at the same place with a weapon given by Lord Ganesha. Thus, a temple was established here to honour the Lord and was named as Anegudde. It serves as one of the 'Mukti Sthalas' of Karnataka. Ganesh Chaturthi and Sankastha Chaturthi are celebrated in the temple with great enthusiasm and a car festival also held in the month of December with huge fervour.

Guddattu Sri Vinayaka temple
Once again dedicated to Lord Ganesha, this ancient temple is lying close to the base of huge granite rock resembling an elephant in sleeping form. The idol of presiding deity Lord Ganesha is in sitting position.
Two very important rituals are performed here namely Ayurkoda Abhisheka and Akki Kadubu Seve. The first ritual involves bathing the idol with thousand pots of water while according to the second one dish is prepared using 480 kg of rice and 240 kg of pulses.

Holy Rosary Church
Holy Rosary Church is a beautiful building situated on the banks of River Panchagangavalli on the west side of the town. Created by Rev. Fr. Joseph Vaz in year 1681 in the honour of Our lady of Rosary.
The church houses a beautifully carved wooden altar and is ornamented with tiles. One can also witness a Bell Tower within the church premises. Renovated in 1757 after being attacked by Tipu Sultan, toady the church also runs a school and an orphanage.

Kundeswara Temple
One of the most sought after temple in this whole district of Udupi, Kundeswara Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Situated nearby the Panchagangavalli River, the town is also named after this temple.
Built by Kundavarna, the deity of the temple is a 4 feet high Shivalinga, a garbhagriha idol of black stones. However, only one-third of the Shivalinga is visible while the remaining part is buried under. Idol of Lord Ganesha and Goddess Parvati is also installed in the temple complex.

Mahalasa Narayani Temple
Dedicated to Goddess Mahalasa Narayani, this temple is located on the banks of River Varahi and once served as the hub of trade. It is a holy place for Goud Saraswati Brahmin Community and was regularly visited by the sages of Mutts like Kashi Samsthana and Gokarna Parthaggali Mutt.
Mekekattu Nadhikeshwara Temple
An ancient temple established by sage Parshuram is located in the proximity to the town of Kundapur. The most enticing feature of the temple is its 10 feet tall wooden idols depicting the warrior uniform made probably in the memory of war took place somewhere during the 1600s-1700s.
Barkuru Chowlikere and Yettinahatti are two temples located in the vicinity to it which are worth visiting.
Shankaranarayana
One of the seven sacred places established by Lord Parshuram and an important religious hub, Shankaranarayana Temple attracts a large number of devotees. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, a naturally formed Udbhava Linga is found in the temple as a presiding deity which is believed to be a confluence of Lord Narayana and Lord Shiva.
Sri Mookimba Temple
Sri Mookimba Temple is believed to once be the site where rishis use to perform penance. Today, located in the Kodachaadri peak Valley, this temple is dedicated to Goddess Mookimba.
The interior of the temple is home to a Jyotirlinga divided in to two sections with the help of a golden line. The bigger part represents Goddess Mahasarawati, Mahakali and Mahalakshmi and the smaller part is devoted to Vishnu, Brahma and Maheshwara. The dome of the temple along with the kalasha is crafted out of gold.
