Kutralam Tourism

Nestled in the lush Western Ghats, Kutrallam is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. With its cascading waterfalls, vibrant culture, and serene landscapes, Kutrallam offers a unique blend of tranquilly and adventure. Embark on a journey to explore the wonders of Kutrallam, where nature meets history in perfect harmony.Kutralam, also known as Courtallam, is a popular tourist destination located in the Tenkasi district of Tamil Nadu, India. Renowned for its picturesque waterfalls and natural beauty, Kutralam is a sought-after spot for both tourists and locals.

Courtallam, also known as Kutralam, is a perfect  flight from Tenkasi and Tirunelveli. Courtallam, a small  city  skirting Kollam District, is  notorious for its  falls on the Western Ghats. With  witching  panoramic  lookouts, the township is popularly known as' Gym of South'. It has nine  falls in the region that add charm to its  fantastic  beauty. One will also find Kutrallam adorned with ancient tabernacles, reflecting the age-old legends attached to them. The  city itself, like  numerous other  metropolises in India, narrates mythological myths, adding to its mystique. This cascade ranks first in terms of attracting lots of excursionists every time. This lovely cascade is what one needs to heed to escape from the scorching sun. The Courtallam cascade is a combination of nine  falls, each differing in size, volume of water, height, and water current. These falls are considered to be a natural gym, which could remove all your body pains. The swash sources of these cascade are River Chittra, Manimutharu, Pachaiyar and Tamirabarani, which cascade over 60–92 m. The bitter part of this fall is that, during the season, it'll be overcrowded and  flocked with people.   The nine  falls at Courtallam are as follows: Main Falls( Peraruvi), Small Falls( Chittaruvi), Chembakadevi( Shenbaga) Falls, Honey Falls( Thenaruvi), Five Cascades ( Aintharuvi), Tiger Falls( Puliaruvi), Old Courtallam Falls( Pazhaya Courtallam), New Falls( Puthu Aruvi), Fruit Garden Falls, or Orchard Falls( Pazhathotta Arvui). Apart from these cascades, this place is  notorious for the Tirukuttralanathar Swamy  tabernacle  devoted to Lord Shiva and another Murugan  tabernacle. People, after taking a bath in these cascades, visit these  tabernacles and seek the blessing of the Almighty. The  tabernacle has eulogies about the Chola and Pandya  lords. Chitra Sabhai,  hard, exhibits  oils from the Puranas and is believed to be one of the five Sabhas where Lord Nataraja is said to have presented his cosmic dance. Courtallam isn't like any other beautiful destination that you would just visit in South India for a  holiday. This  sightseer destination, though small, has commodities in it that soak your soul, and by that, some Courtallam refers to its  numerous  fascinating popular tourism  lodestones . True to the name that it has been  deified as, Courtallam has, with time, made its place as the' Gym of South India' in the Western Ghats, thanks to the  pious  trippers who spread the word of praise all over the world. The  city, which is set at an elevation of 160 m in the foothills of Agasthyamalai, an essential part of the Western Ghats in Tirunelveli  quarter, is among the untouched tourism places left by man's revolutionary hands. And out of all the heart-winning seasons to take on the road, the months of June to September are considered the most stylish time to visit Courtallam. Throwing some  limelight on its  trip places that are worth visiting, together with the curing  falls, which have a special  citation in  numerous  erudite workshops by" Thirikooda Rasappa Kavirayar," who wrote songs on the  fineness of Courtallam, there are ancient  tabernacles spreading church from the 7th century and galleries to tell tales about the  ethnical  societies and their  significance. Also, what adds an ultramodern touch to the  city are the eco  premises  and  heads that take Courtallam a step ahead towards conservation.   Out of the  numerous sightseeing places,  falls,  videlicet Main Falls, Five Falls, Old Courtallam Falls, Tiger Falls, Chitra Sabhai Temple, Courtallam Eco Park, and Gundar Dam are some of the top  sightseer  lodestones  that always lead the maps of any Courtallam  trip  companion. While travelling to this  city, you're bound to look for relaxing accommodation options full of amenities. For that reason, our Courtallam  vacation packages never leave any gravestone unturned. Likewise, if legends and myths pull your attention, you'll also get to hear a lot of  fabulous tales, of which the one that's most talked about is the story of the marriage of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. The tale states that when the marriage of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati was taking place in the Himalayas, all the  godly divinities got together to witness the  godly union, because of which the earth's axis faced a  cock. To fix this, Lord Shiva asked Sage Agastya to bring the earth back to a balanced state by going towards the south. After doing so, the savant was promised that he could witness the marriage. This  city, which is dipped in spiritual beauty and is a hustler's paradise, is a must if you're allowing yourself an  odd  holiday away from the hustle and bustle of life. And if you're planning this  stint with us, you're bound to have a great time in the soothing realms of Courtallam. We also offer stylish Courtallam  trip packages that can be  acclimatised as per your preference so that you have a perfect time amid the ravishing Western Ghats of Tamil Nadu.
