Bellagio
The Bellagio is one of Las Vegas' most popular luxury hotel-resorts and casinos. A top location for gaming and elaborate events.
The Bellagio is more than just a hotel. Owned by the MGM International Group, it has a casino, a botanical garden, a large lake and fountain, and even a constantly changing art exhibition.
Bellagio's poker room is actually frequented by some of the biggest poker players and high rollers in the world, due to the high buy-in limits at the tables. Only the best of the best players can expect to come out of the room with a profit!
The Fountains of Bellagio show is a lovely synchronised water show right outside the resort, attracting hundreds of people every day. The "O", an aquatic production of the Cirque du Soleil, the biggest theatrical company in the world, is also hugely popular, and has been running since 1998. Cirque du Soleil also have 7 other live shows in Las Vegas that you should definitely check out.
Coming next to the super famous Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. These gardens are actually among the top attractions at the hotel and pull hordes of people on their own. The garden changes it's flowers and layouts in accordance with 5 seasonal themes - the Chinese New Year from January to mid - March features bromeliads and orchids; the Spring theme, till mid - May, then has a huge variety of colourful tropical flowers and a butterfly house; the Summer theme features a whole lot of red, white, and blue; the Fall theme from late September to Thanksgiving displays a whole lot of Halloween pumpkins and chrysanthemum; the Winter display then takes over after Thanksgiving, celebrating the holiday spirit of the months and also featuring a huge Christmas tree.
The Fine Art Gallery displays an exotic collection of art from museums and private collections all over the world, a must visit for art enthusiasts.

Fremont Street Experience
Downtown Las Vegas' prime attraction, Fremont Street Experience is a pedestrian mall covering 5 blocks in the area and is home to several fancy attractions.
The Fremont Street is the second most popular street in Las Vegas after the Strip, and is another hub for tourists and locals alike. As soon as you reach the mall, you will notice that the promenade of the mall is covered by a LED canopy. This is the Viva Vision, a curved LED screen that stretches from the beginning to the very end of the promenade. It's used every day for many light and sound shows. The mall has 3 performance stages and is host to several free concerts throughout the week, and is of course home to several famous casinos and nightclubs as well.
One of the most popular attraction here, however, is the SlotZilla Zip Line. This incredible zip line experience is superb and must not be missed if you're visiting Fremont. The lower level "Zipline" travels the halfway down the mall, and the upper level "Zoomline" actually covers the entire mall! So you can well imagine how thrilling it would be.
This lively and bustling location in Downtown Las Vegas is definitely worth checking out, and is also the location of the city's New Year's Eve celebrations.

High Roller
The High Roller is the tallest ferris wheel in the world, and offers some unmatched views of the Las Vegas.
The 167 metre tall ferris wheel on the Strip is the place to go if you're looking for unparalleled views of Las Vegas. The wheel is so huge that one full rotation actually takes 30 minutes! It is a part of the LINQ resort and casino, and was actually built by the same company which built the Singapore Flyer (the previous tallest ferris wheel in the world), Arup Engineering. There are 28 glass cabins on the entire wheel, and are actually big enough to fit 40 people inside at once. There is also an iPod dock so that you can enjoy the view with some background music! At night, the ferris wheel is lit up in beautiful colours. Also, the charges for a single trip during the day are USD 23, and at night USD 37.

Mob Museum
An absolutely compelling exhibition on the history of organised crime in Las Vegas and the entire USA.
The Mob Museum is not like the museums you would normally visit. The museum's theme is actually very, very different. The museum uses a huge collection of artefacts, stories and authentic cases to showcase the impact of organised crime in the USA.
The engaging collection of the museum is truly an eye opener on the dark side of the world. You get to learn about the history of the Mob, the biggest figured in organised crime, some of the most famous Mob activities, and even get to view graphic and rather disturbing pictures of actual corpses of some of the Mobs most known hits.
The infamous blooded wall from the St. Valentine's Day Massacre is exhibited in the museum, as well as the courtroom where the hearings of the Kefauver Committee's ground - breaking case on organised crime took place.
The tour ends on the ground floor of the museum, which has an interactive weapons testing model set up for interested visitors, and also a gift shop where you can buy clothes, books, movies and many other items are available for sale to those who really want to get into the Mob life!

Neon Museum
A fascinating museum telling the history of Las Vegas through the neon signs and boards of casinos and businesses which are no longer active.
This outdoor museum is a lovely representation of the hundreds of casinos and businesses that have today shut down. The bulk of the museum's collection is located in the Boneyard, where nearly 200 signs are on display. The museum is in the process of restoring these signs and putting them on display in the Fremont Street, and so far 7 have been restored. The Neon Boneyard North Gallery also displays many rescued signs and is a popular post card location. The visitor's centre of the museum is located in the lobby of the former La Concha Motel, which has also been restored.
The restored signs include the Lucky Cuss Motel, the Bow & Arrow Motel, The Silver Slipper, Society Cleaners, Binion's Horseshoe, the Normandie Motel, the Hacienda horse and rider, the Landmark and 5th Street Liquors.

A stunning set of red coloured rock formations, the Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area is among the best sights near the city.
A favourite place for rock climbers and hikers, this protected area is one of Las Vegas' best sights. The red sandstone rock formation is visible even from the Strip, and the formation of sandstone walls and peaks is named the Keystone Thrust. The actual Red Rock Canyon is actually a smaller canyon in the area, reached by taking an off-road route just off the main loop road.
The place is extremely popular for adventure activists for hiking and rock climbing. The loop road is also popular for bicycle tours, and some areas in Red Rock are also open for camping. It is important to remember, however, that the region is extremely hot in the summer, and adequate arrangements should be made.
