Lepakshi Temple
The Lepakshi temple, also known as Veerbhadra temple is located in the tiny hamlet of Anantapur District of Andhra Pradesh. It is a paragon of excellent architecture and art. Located in the proximity to Veerbhadra Temple is another striking feature of the village i.e. idol of Nandi Bull and paintings. This monolithic sculpture of Nandi crafted out of granite stone measures 4.5m in height and 8.23 m in length. Believed to be the largest statue in India, it attracts tourists in large number.
