Lhuentse is a small  city located 67 kilometres down from Mongar in eastern Bhutan. The  city is remote and has one of the least advanced  sections in Bhutan, which was formerly known as Kurtoe. It's the ancestral home of the royal family, hence keeping the most distinct art forms of the country  complete. Apart from being a popular camping  point, Lhuetnse is the proud  proprietor of some of the most stylish  fabrics in Bhutan. Though the  city doesn't have  numerous  sightseer  lodestones , Lhuentse Dzong, Jigme Namgyel Naktsang, and Kilung Lhakhang are some of the places that you shouldn't miss. The Khoma Village is especially  notorious for the cloth  plant that weaves Kushutara( brocade). One of the  effects you'll find on your trip to Lhuentse, counted among the  notorious  sightseer  lodestones  in Bhutan, is that its people sure love their alcohol. Indeed, ara, the traditional manual alcohol of Bhutan, is consumed in large amounts. The surroundings are covered with coniferous timber. Another reason that makes Mongar  notorious is its needlewomen and the fine  fabrics woven by them, which are considered the most stylish in the country. One of the most  notorious  sightseer  lodestones  in Lhuentse is Lhuntse Dzong. Also known as Lhundub Rinchentse among the original population, it's a magnificent structure overlooking the River Kurichu. It was  erected in 1654 on the veritable spot where a  tabernacle was  erected by Nagi Wangchuk( one of the Drukpa Lamas) in 1552. Outside, the dzong houses sacred artefacts, which were installed by the 4th Druk Desi Tenzin Rabgay. You can see them engaged in this fine art, and you can also buy  colorful crockery pieces if you want to.   A most  emotional sight awaits you at the Takila mountain  pitch, where stands the colossal statue of Guru Padmasambhava( a Buddhist scholar, saint, and champion; he's admired as the alternate Buddha by his followers). The statue surprises you with its height, as it looks down benevolently from a height of  roughly 173  bases. The scenic surroundings serve as the perfect background for the statue. From the mountain  pitch, you can get an awful view of the Tangmachu valley stretched out below. There's an  intriguing story  girding the statue. It states that Lerab Lingpa, the  notorious Tibetan  schoolteacher and saint,  predicted that, “ At one point in time, there will be a war of  nags in Kurtoe Valley. To  help this war, a statue of Guru Nangsi Zilnoen should be  erected. ”. Another  deified saint and champion, Lama Sonam Zangpo, a  deified Yogi and  schoolteacher in Bhutan, advised that for  steering in substance and success in Bhutan and the world in general, it was necessary to  make the statue there.   Another  vill that you should explore is the  vill of Khoma. The road leading to the village takes you over gracious  pitches  adjoined by pine trees. This is another village notorious for its handwoven fabrics, known as the Kishuthara. You can spot the women seated in their beautiful little  lodges, engaged in creating  intriguing designs and patterns. On your visit to the village, do n’t forget to carry your camera with you, as its spectacular  position offers  awful photography  openings.   There's also the village of Kilung, which is inhabited by the Tshanglas, who are believed to have settled there during the late 1880’s. There's a fascinating story behind it. It's believed that inside the  tabernacle, there's a sacred chain boardwalk that was used to  regain a statue believed to have flown down from Lhuentse Dzong. A particular  sightseer  magnet in Bhutan that you shouldn't miss is Dungkar Naktshang, the ancient home of Dungkar Chojie. It's also the ancient home of the Wangchuk dynasty and is overlooked by gigantic mountains above while  swinging gorgeous views of the mountains below. You should visit this armature  erected in the ancient days because it provides a glimpse into the ancient  history of Bhutan. During your Bhutan sightseeing  stint in Lhuentse, there's another  friary that you shouldn't miss out on. innovated in the 18th century by Pekar Gyatso, there's a commodity that draws you towards it. Perhaps it’s the spectacular  position that lends it that air of endlessness.   In the northeastern corner of Bhutan lies the ancient region of Kurtoe, or Lhuentse, as it's known. The  geography is spectacular, with stark  escarpments towering above swash  ravines and  thick coniferous  timbers. The region is  notorious for its needlewomen, and their distinctive  fabrics are generally considered to be the most stylish in the country. Kurtoep women are especially skilled at weaving a cloth called Kishuthara. Eastern Bhutanese culture is distinctive in its high alcohol consumption in relation to other parts of Bhutan. Ara, the traditional alcohol of Bhutan, is most  frequently made from rice or  sludge, either fermented or distilled. It may only be  fairly produced and consumed  intimately.   Some of the  lodestones  in the region include the Lhuentse Dzong, Khoma Vill (famous for weaving), Singye Dzong, the Beyul Khenpajong, and the Phunying Pass. The cloth products of Khoma Vill in Lhuentse are stated to be the most stylish in the country. The weaving  handcraft looms are a common sight in  nearly every  ménage.   Most of Lhuentse Quarter is part of the environmentally  defended areas of Bhutan. The  quarter contains the corridors of Wangchuck Centennial Park in the north, Thrumshingla National Park in the south, and Bumdeling Wildlife Sanctuary in the east. These three  premises  are connected by  natural corridors that cross the central and southern regions of the  quarter.
