Manaranjan Fort
Manranjan Fort is one of the two hill forts that constitute the Rajmachi Fort. Also known as Manoranjan Fort or Manranjan Balekilla, it is situated at an elevation of 2700 feet above the sea level in the Sahyadris. The fort is in a crumbled state slightly but still stands strong and sturdy. It is flocked by a large number of trekkers and adventure enthusiasts all through the year.
Ryewood Park
The Ryewood Park, located close to the Lonavala market, was once a Botanical garden which is now converted into a public park. Marked by well maintained and landscaped lawns and gardens, a children park and countless old species of trees, this one makes up for an ideal picnic spot. There is also a small temple located inside the park.
Sausage Hills
Another set of hills that landmark the lush greenery and misty skies of Lonavala are the Sausage hills. With wide views of the valleys, lakes and hills around, rare species of birds and a trekking experience amidst such refreshing surroundings, this can be one of the most flattering experiences in the town.
Scorpion's Sting
Shaped in form of a Scorpion's sting, this hill is an expansive area of 38 square km and is 625 meters above the sea level. Known for the various trekking expeditions it sports, one can also watch over the thick and dense forest surrounding the area, as they climb up.
Tiger's Leap
Tiger's Leap viewpoint is located around 8 km away from Lonavala and is a major tourist attraction of this place. It is a clifftop with a sheer drop of over 650 m, offering a comprehensive view of the hills and the Western Ghats. It is famous for the stunning sunrise and sunset view, especially on a clear day.
Tiger's Leap is an unusual name given to this place due to the resemblance of the shape with that of a tiger leaping into the valley. This point, which provides an interesting view of the valley below, is just a short distance away from INS Shivaji. The exhilarating views should, however, be enjoyed from a safe spot rather than from the top of the cliff which is precarious. The echo point on Tiger's Leap is another major attraction.

Tikona Fort
Tikona Fort, a dominant hill fortress is a popular one-day trek spot of the Pawana Maval region of the Konkan. The real Marathi name of the fort is Vitandgad, but it gets its more famous name from the triangular shape it is built-in. Situated at a height of 3500 feet, the fort has high fortifications, large doorways, seven water tanks with clean water and a spectacular view from its topmost bastion.
The trek from the village of Tikona Peth to the top of the hill is an ideal getaway for the adventurers at heart. After crossing several caves, temples and water tanks, the route brings you to the edge of the extended parapet from where you can take in the fantastic beauty of the surroundings. Tung Fort
Tung Fort is a hill fort located close to Lonavala which is known for the Pavana Lake it houses in its complex. At 1075m, this fort is slightly difficult to climb. To reach the site, tourists need to climb 1,200 ft area of the fort that is a steep ascent. From the top, Lohagad Fort, Visapur Fort, Tikona Fort and Korigad Fort can be viewed.
Located in Kamshet, the fort is surrounded by water on three sides. Built by the Adil Shahi Dynasty in 1600, the fort was later captured by Chhatrapati Shivaji. The sharp canonical fort is visible even from a distance.
