Millard Falls

Located at the end of a short and scenic trail atop one of San Gabriel Mountains’ most pleasant canyons, Millard Falls is a tremendous sight with chunky hanging boulders boxing the unique cascade. At the foot of the falls, you can sit and admire the surrounding lofty mountains and vertical granite rock walls. The Chaney trail is interspersed with smooth rocks and rugged hoppings that call for a few jumps over the dipping Millard Creek. Californian bay trees line the narrow canyon as it meanders past campsites with fire rings, picnic tables and RVs. If you choose to hike along the Mt Lowe Trail, a longer option that leads to Millard Falls, you can capture a more unusually stunning, elevated view of the waterfall.
