Robinson Gardens
Robinson Gardens is a serene, iconic estate encircling the central mansion which was once home to Harry Robinson and is the birthplace of Beverly Hills. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the garden is beautifully manicured and has varied collections of orchards, vegetables, ornamental Californian flowers and tropical foliage.
With an eloquent blend of natural splendor and architectural excellence, the entrance of Robinson Gardens on a knoll above Sunset Boulevard leads you to a pool with mosaic tiles. The surrounding gardens boast of Roman arches, verdant subtropical bushes and tropical palm gardens. Further in, the herb garden is a pesticide-free zone with demonstrations of vegetable cultivation. Heirloom roses flank the lake shores which feature Italian style shady seating and picnic areas. You can spot and feed the playful ducks and herons at ponds. With prior reservation, Robinson Gardens can be used for photoshoots and reception parties owing to dramatic backdrops of the Italian Terrace Garden. Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills is an affluent street of Los Angeles that defines why Southern California is one of the most lavishly fashionable places of the US. Rowena Reservoir
An oasis right in the middle of the Hyperion Avenue and Rowena Avenue and just off the Golden State Freeway, the Rowena Reservoir is a very picturesque lake that provides a 360-degree view of the neighborhood. A 10-million gallon reservoir that is largely underground now, it’s fenced off and restricted for public access despite strong protests from the locals to open it.
However, the path around the periphery of the reservoir provides some beautiful views of the sunset and a good stroll in the evenings. The reservoir primarily supplies water for the neighborhoods surrounding the area.

Runyon Canyon Park
A favourite park among the locals for walks and views, this massive 130 acre public park provides a wonderful natural landscape to the city, while affording you some lovely views of the cityscape.
The Runyon Canyon Park is an amazing natural area in LA. Here, the air is fresh, the noise of the city cancelled, and wonderful views and hikes on offer. It's filled with lush green trees and shrubs, walkways taking you through this wonderful environment to vista points from where you can view things like the Hollywood Sign, the Griffith Observatory, and on a clear day even the Pacific Ocean, among several others.
You can spend a great few hours in the outdoors, exploring the park and the various trails. The park has various entry points. When entering from the bottom of the canyon, you can choose whether to go clockwise up the canyon or counter clockwise, both very good and refreshing trails about 30 - 45 minutes long. If you're looking for a bigger challenge, you can start from the southern approach to Vista, where the hike will take you through the axis of the canyon up to the second highest point on it. Up and down the this trail might take you more than an hour. The highest point, however, is the hike up the Indian Rock. There are a few routes through which you can reach the top, and once you're up there the views are spectacular and panoramic.
A good few hours at the park will definitely have you refreshed during a trip that is mostly to do with roaming in and around the city, and rearing to get right back at it!

Runyon Canyon Park
Located at the eastern end of the majestic Santa Monica mountains, Runyon Park is one of California’s top hiking destinations with picturesque trails carved out of landscaped mountain valleys. The adventurous dirt roads lined with dense tropical forests offer exhilarating terrain that gradually increases in altitude to an epic point from where you can view almost 2/3rds of Los Angeles city.
The park also has off-leash trails where joggers come with their furry friends. Several picture-perfect vantage points from where you can see the world-famous Hollywood sign sit amidst the west trail. At lower valleys, floral lawns with well-manicured grass are hubs for yoga and meditation groups as well as family picnics. These are also excellent spots for wildlife watching and have plenty of rare Californian wildflowers. Most of the trails run in loops with benches at the highest peaks. Inspiration Point is equipped with benches that overlook the grand Griffith Observatory and Hollywood, while Clouds Rest offers panoramic views of West Ridge from an elevation of 1,400 feet. In case you are not used to hiking along natural trails, you can choose the east trail which has a paved pathway upto an elevation of 800 feet.
