Chatsworth Reservoir
The Chatsworth Reservoir is located within the Chatsworth Nature Preserve, a 1,325-acre preserve in the north-west of San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, California.
It was the last of the 19 water-retention basins created to store water from the Owens Valley, linked via the Los Angeles Aqueduct. The reservoir was constructed as two earth-filled dams and two smaller dikes between the hills of the preserve.
Primarily constructed to provide water for irrigation purposes of western San Fernando Valley, the onset of suburban housing prompted the shift to the domestic water supply. However, since being taken out of service in 1972, it hasn’t been commissioned since.

Cooper Canyon Falls
Flowing almost all year through the Pacific Crest Trail near Pasadena, the Cooper Canyon Falls is a beautiful snow-fed waterfall in Angeles National Forest, best visited during April and May when the snow melts. The falls mark the end of Burkhart Trail and has a neighboring RV camping ground.

The County Administration Center Waterfront Park is a waterfront park in downtown San Diego. It has an expanse of 12 acres. In 2014, this park was formed on the north & south sides of the County Administrative Building, constructed over a former parking area. This new park has an underground 250-car parking facility.
